Lala recently graduated from the City University of New York’s Graduate Center, in NYC. Trained as a classical archaeologist, Lala is interested in comparative religious studies of Western and Eastern societies and history. Through the analysis of material culture (particularly ancient art and literature), her research examines the relationship between the natural environment and religious cult developments and traditions. Lala currently works as a teaching assistant in undergraduate anthropology at Brooklyn College, in Brooklyn, NY.
